Free School meals update
Tue 05 Jan 2021Dear parents and carers
You should have received a text today giving information regarding Free School Meals provision during lockdown. NT Council will be providing weekly food hampers for every pupil entitled to Free School Meals, they will need to be collected from school and we will message you when they are ready to collect.
Pupils who are attending school will be provided with a packed lunch from tomorrow.

From Tuesday 5th January we will be open for keyworker and vulnerable pupils only.
If you are eligible for keyworker status you should contact the school office on 0191 8142500 or email info@balliolprimary.co.uk to book your child in.
All other pupils will be taught remotely. Please see our remote learning page on the website. Please contact the school office if you require a device.
We are awaiting advice re arrangements for free school meals and will let you know about this later today.
This situation is constantly changing and we will keep it under constant review. We hope to return to full opening as soon as it is safe.
