On behalf of our pupils, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Balliol primary School.  

We are a welcoming school.  Dedicated staff work in partnership with parents, children and governors to provide a calm, purposeful learning environment where children feel safe and happy.

Our ambitious curriculum has been thoughtfully designed. Children’s vocabulary, knowledge and skills are carefully built upon through engaging learning opportunities, both within and beyond the classroom.  We continually strive to support and challenge all children to be the best they can be academically, physically, socially and emotionally.

British values are woven through every element of school life.  We actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance as part of every child’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.  We want our children to know how to make a positive contribution to the diverse community, and world, to which they belong.
